About Brahmatal trek

Brahmatal trek climbs to 12,250 feet and we rate it as moderate. A moderate rating refers to marginally longer trekking days with a few steep climbs in between. So, Brahmatal trek is a notch more difficult than the easy-moderate treks like Kedarkantha and Dayara Bugyal

Itinerary

Day 1Dehradun to Lohajung

Pickup from Dehradun Airport or Kathgodam Railway station in Morning Starting journey from Dehradun/ kathgodam to Lohajung

 Route:- Rishikesh – Devprayag- Srinagar- Rudraprayag – Karanprayag- Dewal – Lohajung. In evening check in to Lohajung homestay where you will enjoy your dinner as well as overnight stay.

  • Meet our representative in the morning , Warm welcome and start your Journey to Lohajung, Via Rishikesh. Stop at Goa beach near Rudraprayag for Lunch or snacks( on own cost). Again start your journey and at evening reach Lohajunhg.
  • Check in to hotel or homestay, spend time in leisure.
  • Dinner and over night stay( sleep early so that you can easily get acclimatize in the weather.

                                                                                           OR

Route- Kathgodam- Bhimtal- Nainital- Ranikhet- Kausani- Gwaldam- Lohajung.

  • Meet our representative at Kathgodam Railway station and transfers to Lohajung
  • Enroute click some pictures in Bhimtal. Visit Baijnath Temple.
  • Reach at Evening.
  • Dinner and stay at hotel or homestay.

Day 02 : Lohajung to Bekaltal

After enjoying your morning meal.
After breakfast we will have a small briefing session regarding the brahmatal terk after that get ready for the hike towards Bekaltal ,6 km trek enrouting villages and dense forest.
You easily get water while Trekking. It will take 4-6 hrs to reach Bekaltal, where you can a evening walk around and then overnight stay &
Dinner will be in camp.

Day 03 : Bekaltal to Brahmatal

  • Today journey is going to be memorable ,one must going to witness the scenic beauty of shivalik and greater Himalayas both .
  • Brahmatal is 7 km hike from Bekaltal. And within 4-5 hours we will reach our today’s campsite near lake.
  • Enjoy your meal on trek and later in evening spend some quality time near Brahmatal lake .

Day 04 : Trek to Jatropani peak and return to Brahmatal

  • Morning meal at Camps, After that start your climb to Jatropani peak
  • Jatropani peak is the highest point from Brahmatal, also known as Khamila top which is an isolated place, one must visit to enjoy the scenic beauty because top is just opposite ridge  of the famous roopkund trek and offers a scenic view of ali bugyal & bedni bugyal.
  • Overnight stay & Dinner in Brahmatal campsite.

Day 05 : Brahmatal to Lohajung

Try to wakeup early morning to enjoy beautiful sunrise near Brahmatal lake, after breakfast at camp, start your trek down to Lohajung. Overnight stay & Dinner in Lohajung

Day 06 :Departure to Dehradun or Kathgodam

After morning breakfast, drive way back to Dehradun Airport for your return flight to home. End your beautiful adventure journey here.
